The Windlestrae name comes from the tall grasses that once swayed gently in the breeze on the land beside Loch Leven. The Hotel sits in beautifully landscaped grounds and offers the 'Gravity Health and Leisure Club' with an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, steam room and gym.
We think that it would be worng to visit Scotland and not play golf! There are two 18 golf courses to choose from at Kinross; The Montgomery and The Bruce. Both lie in beautiful, unspoilt parkland bordering Loch Leven. Both courses are laid out to be a challenge to all players whilst also providing plenty of fun and enjoyment.
High quality dining is found at the Fairway Restaurant offering an excellent choice of dishes, featuring the best local ingredients, backed by a comprehensive wine list. Rushes bar offers an extensive selection of drinks from cocktails to malt whiskies and also has a light menu available during the day.
